The Blebricks family consists of various sensor models, such as the environmental, touch, orientation, and presence detection’s ones, communication and power modules, infrared receivers, and mounting bases.
In order to disassemble stacked Blebricks, it is recommended to use a dielectric object as a lever and apply a uniform and weak force in order to not bend connectors.
The Brickshouse is a nine-position circular mounting base that allows multiple Blebricks to be connected on a single horizontal platform. The Brickshouse features 8 RGB LEDs arranged circularly to allow for dramatic lighting effects. It also already includes the RPS power brick with a 1000mAh rechargeable battery to allow for longer battery life.
- Dimensions (Expert): 133 mm (diameter)
- 9 mounting positions for additional Blebricks
- 8 RGB LEDs for scenic effects
- RPS power module with 1000 mAh battery included
The Brickhouse is suitable for all those applications that require multiple sensors such as in the case of simultaneous detection of multiple environmental parameters (eg Quality air, temperature, humidity, pressure, CO2, Particulate etc) or can be used with Blebricks performing the function of inertial sensors and buttons to create for example advanced joysticks and controllers that emulate a steering wheel with additional buttons. The aggregation of multiple sensors and actuators through Brickshouse makes the device more compact and impressive compared to the use of connecting bricks with three or two positions such as IB4, IB3 and IB2.
The PCB Blebrick is a single-position mounting base including through-hole pads to provide the user with a Blebricks sized breadboard.
Such brick allows the expert user to experiment the assembly of discrete components such as buttons, switches, LEDs, analogue sensors etc.
